Three days in Kerala means choosing one focus and doing it well. The two that work best from Kochi are the Munnar tea hills, or old Kochi paired with a backwater night.

Option A — Munnar (tea hills)

Day 1: drive up from Kochi through the Cheeyappara waterfalls to Munnar. Day 2: a full day of tea country — Eravikulam, Mattupetty, Echo Point, viewpoints. Day 3: back to Kochi via Fort Kochi and the Chinese fishing nets. This is our most popular short trip — see the Munnar package for the full day-by-day.

Option B — Kochi & the backwaters

Day 1: old Fort Kochi — Chinese nets, Jew Town, Mattancherry. Day 2: down to Alleppey for a private houseboat night. Day 3: a backwater morning, then back to Kochi. Best if the backwaters are your priority over the hills.
