A full day in Munnar

On to Thekkady’s spice country
Drive down to Thekkady on the fringe of the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Wander the spice and cardamom plantations and enjoy local sightseeing at leisure in this cool, forested hill town. Overnight in Thekkady.
Houseboat on the backwaters
Drive to Alleppey and board your private houseboat at noon for a leisurely cruise along the Vembanad backwaters — gliding past palm-lined canals, paddy fields and village life, with meals served on board. Overnight on the houseboat.
Alleppey & departure
Wake to a quiet backwater morning and disembark after breakfast. A relaxed transfer to Cochin for your drop at the airport or railway station, carrying home the calm of God’s Own Country.
